Pink Bull’s reigning champion Verstappen pulled out one other 17 factors over Ferrari drivers’ title rival Charles Leclerc, who led in Hungary earlier than a poor technique determination dropped him again to complete sixth.
Verstappen’s lead is now 80 factors over Leclerc as he bids for a second successive drivers’ title. His Pink Bull teammate Sergio Perez’s fifth place in Hungary strikes him to inside 5 factors of Leclerc’s second spot within the factors.
George Russell’s podium end strikes him two factors forward of Carlos Sainz within the second Ferrari into fourth in factors.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton’s runner-up end places him with 10 of Sainz in sixth.

Within the constructors’ factors, Pink Bull’s 35-point haul in Hungary strikes it 97 away from Ferrari after the Scuderia’s troubled day.
Mercedes outscored Ferrari by 14 factors, closing the hole to 30. Alpine and McLaren tied on six factors in Budapest, so the French marque 4 clear in fourth place.
The one different level scorer once more was Aston Martin, which stays in ninth – now seven factors behind AlphaTauri.
